Absolut Citron: 1/2 Flaming Shots
Shot: It’s a very pleasant shot. You almost don’t know if the burn is from the vodka or the citrus, but there is definitely a burn!
Citron + Orange Juice: This drink is very smooth. You can’t taste the alcohol, but the citron makes the juice taste a little lighter. This is what we would imagine a diet orange juice to taste like. 4.5/5
Citron + Sunny Delight: The SunnyD tastes a little more sour. It is like a less sweet SunnyD. However, we think this will still be a tangy classic. 4/5
Citron + Lemonade: This is amazing! It tastes like a very vibrant lemonade. The alcohol highlights the citrus flavor. This is most definitely an aaronandfrank.com classic and favorite! 5/5
Citron + Apple Juice: This has a great taste. Conventional knowledge would have you believe that this wouldn’t be that great of a drink, but the citron masks the alcohol burn and makes the drink tart like a lightly soured apple. Surprising and good. 5/5
Citron + Fruit Punch: The fruit punch masks the alcohol burn, but there is a bitter bite at the end of swallow. Given the wonderful performances of the other juices, this was disappointing. 3/5
Citron + Tonic: Classic vodka tonic, only with a citrus burst. If you are a fan of tonic, then this is the drink for you. 3.5/5
Citron + Club Soda: This drink needs a mixer (perhaps a Tom Collins mix). Without a mixer to sweeten the deal, it just tastes like fail. 1.5/5
Citron + Sprite: This drink is surprisingly good. It tastes like the old tropical sprite flavor, so if you remember that sprite and miss its tropical goodness then give this drink a try. 4/5
Citron + Fresca: Tastes like Fresca without any alcohol. The citron flavor is dulled out completely by the Fresca. If you are a fan of Fresca and not a fan of Citron but have Citron in your kitchen, then this should be your drink of choice. 4/5
Citron + Coke: A citrus coke with a twist. The strange thing is that it doesn’t taste that great. We wouldn’t suggest it as a mix. You are better off drinking these separately. 3/5
Citron + Root Beer: We found this strange, but this tastes much better than the Coke and Citron. It tastes like another brand of root beer other than the A&W that we have been using, which in and of itself is neither good or bad. We like it! 4.5/5
